The Consortium of NLUs released the CLAT 2022 results on December 23, 2022. Candidates must appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in order to be considered for admission to the GITAM School of Law.

GITAM School of Law admission process is based on the entrance exam conducted by GITAM i.e GAT (GITAM Entrance Test) and scored in 10+2 for undergraduate students. Postgraduate admission based on candidate's score in LSAT/CLAT. However, for PhD admission candidates must have scored well in both their master's and bachelor's both. To enrol for the GITAM School of Law admission process candidates are required to visit and register themselves for entrance exams in case of UG admissions and fill out the application form along with necessary documents. The candidates qualifying for the admission process are required to confirm their admission by paying the course fee.
GITAM School of Law courses includes two undergraduate courses, three postgraduate courses and one PhD course. The undergraduate courses are of 5 years and postgraduate courses are of 1 year each. However, PhD course is of 3 years. For admissions in undergraduate courses, a candidate who scored well in the GAT entrance exam of GITAM School of Law courses is eligible, and LSAT/CLAT exam scores are given preference. Students are taught various law topics related to cyber security, criminal law, business law etc.
